Cheng, Fan and Motwani are Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons with extensive training and experience in the full scope of implant procedures. We can provide single tooth,multiple teeth, and the most complex full mouth replacements with dental implants. When the jaw bone is deficient Drs. Cheng, Fan and Motwani can perform bone graft procedures to augment the bone in preparation for dental implants. Drs. Cheng, Fan and Motwani strive to provide exceptional surgical care to restore a beautiful smile and chewing function, while keeping the patient’s best interest at heart.

While misaligned teeth can most often be straightened with braces, some patients will in addition require jaw surgery (Orthognathic surgery) to achieve proper bite. Without proper surgical correction patients may suffer from difficulty chewing, abnormal wear of their teeth, problems with esthetics, and pain in their jaw joints. The Oral and Facial Surgery Center of San Jose is among the few centers specializing in corrective jaw surgery in the Bay Area. Drs. Cheng, Fan and Motwani collaborate closely with orthodontists in the Bay Area in a team approach to orthognathic surgery. We provide continuing education to orthodontists in the area of surgical orthodontic treatment. The “Orthognathic patient support seminar” is offered yearly to educate patients considering jaw surgery. A panel of our previous surgery patients come together to discuss their jaw surgery experience. Countless patients over the years have attested how corrective jaw surgery at our center has improved their smiles, chewing function, and quality of life. Drs.
